The Lung Health Promotion Centre at The Alfred
The Centre is committed to providing accessible, evidence-based, holistic education and support for health professionals. We believe this approach is essential to maintaining quality health care education. This empowers health professionals to promote self-management principles for people with chronic respiratory conditions resulting in improved health outcomes.
Victorian Respiratory Network Professional Development Day - Monday 25 November
As the Australian Asthma & Respiratory Educator's Association (AAREA) unfortunately ceased operation on 30 June, the Lung Health Promotion Centre together with the National Asthma Council Australia have formed an exciting coalition - the Victorian Respiratory Network. This will enable ongoing professional development and networking opportunities for health professionals working in the respiratory field within Victoria. To this end we have organised a professional development day on Monday 25 November.
Topics will include Asthma Mortality in the 21st Century, Breathing Pattern - Disorders and Asthma, TB Update, Asthma During Pregnancy, Recent Developments in Compensation For Asbestos Related Disease Sufferers and more. A day not to be missed and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues.
The day will be held at The Alfred, Melbourne. For further information please contact the Centre on (03) 9076 2382.
